Omaha, NE. Bear Properties announced today construction and development of a new outdoor concert facility to be known as the Legacy Amphitheater. This new outdoor concert facility will be located at the Shops of Legacy 168^th & West Center Road. The Legacy Amphitheater will be used to host specialized events such as outdoor music concerts, professional theater performances, corporate functions and other entertainment events. The new concert facility will include concessions, VIP seating area, custom sound, staging and lighting as well as portable restrooms and space for 2,500+ patrons.

“One of the main objectives with this new space is to provide the entire community with a cultural destination in West Omaha” says Shops of Legacy Marketing Director, Tony Lange. “The Legacy Amphitheater will provide area residents with an outdoor entertainment facility that is close to home. A place where they can enjoy events similar to Jazz on the Green, Shakespeare on the Green, the Playing with Fire Concert series and other cultural events typically held downtown on Omaha’s public landing”.

The Legacy Amphitheater is scheduled to open in June 21, 2008. The Grand Opening ceremony will feature an all day music festival, concessions, and more. The Legacy Amphitheater will host concerts every Saturday night from 7-9 PM weather permitting.
